Joey Jordison

Nathan Jonas Jordison (April 26, 1975 – July 26, 2021) was an American musician who was the drummer and co-founder of metal band Slipknot as well as guitarist for horror punk band Murderdolls.

Jordison grew up in Des Moines, Iowa, with his parents and two sisters, and was given his first drum kit at the age of 8. He performed with many bands early in his career; then in the summer of 1995, he joined the group The Pale Ones, which would later change their name to Slipknot. Jordison played in Slipknot since their formation until his departure from the band in December 2013. Of Slipknot’s nine-member lineup, which lasted from 1999–2010, Joey was the third to join the band. He was the drummer and founder of Scar the Martyr, which formed in 2013 and disbanded in 2016.

With Slipknot, Jordison performed on four studio albums, and produced the live album 9.0: Live. Outside his major projects, Jordison performed with other metal groups such as Rob Zombie, Metallica, Korn, Ministry, Otep, and Satyricon. Jordison was also known for his session work, which includes performances on many albums for many artists. Jordison used several drum brands including Pearl and ddrum. Before his death, he was playing for the band Sinsaenum.

Craig Jones

Craig Michael Jones (born February 11, 1972), also known by his nickname “133“, is an American heavy metal musician best known as the sampler and keyboardist of Slipknot. When performing with Slipknot, he is also referred to as #5. Jones joined the band in 1996 shortly after the recording of Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat., replacing Donnie Steele on guitar, although he quickly moved onto the role of sampler. Following the departure of Joey Jordison in 2013, Jones is now the second-longest-serving member of the band.

Corey Taylor

Corey Todd Taylor (born December 8, 1973) is an American singer, musician, songwriter and actor. He is known as the lead vocalist and lyricist of the bands Slipknot and Stone Sour.[1]

Taylor co-founded Stone Sour with drummer Joel Ekman in 1992, playing in the Des Moines area, and working on a demo. He joined Slipknot in 1997 to replace their original vocalist and has subsequently released six studio albums with them. After the first two Slipknot albums went Platinum, Taylor revived Stone Sour to record an album and tour in 2002. His debut solo studio album, CMFT, was released on October 2, 2020, by Roadrunner Records.[2][3]

He has worked with several bands, including Junk Beer Kidnap Band, Korn, Disturbed, Apocalyptica, Code Orange, Anthrax, Steel Panther, Falling in Reverse, and Soulfly.

Mick Thomson

Mickael Gordon Thomson (born November 3, 1973) is an American heavy metal musician. He is one of two guitarists in the band Slipknot, in which he is designated #7. Thomson originally met founding Slipknot members Anders Colsefni, Donnie Steele and Paul Gray through their mutual involvement in death metal band Body Pit, later joined in early 1996. Following the departure of Joey Jordison in 2013, Thomson is now the third longest-serving member of Slipknot.

Paul Gray

Paul Dedrick Gray (April 8, 1972 – May 24, 2010) also known as the Pig or by his number #2, was an American musician best known as bassist, backing vocalist, main songwriter and one of the founding members of the heavy metal band Slipknot.

Shawn Crahan

Michael Shawn Crahan (born September 24, 1969), more commonly known by his stage persona “Clown“, is an American musician who is one of the two percussionists/background vocalists and co-founder of heavy metal band Slipknot. When performing with Slipknot, he is also known as #6. As of 2021, Crahan is the last remaining original member of the first Slipknot lineup before their big break in 1999.

Crahan is the oldest member of Slipknot, with extensive involvement in Slipknot’s media production, directing Slipknot’s music videos. Outside Slipknot, Crahan had two side project bands called To My Surprise and Dirty Little Rabbits. Aside from his musical activity, he also directed the 2016 film Officer Downe.

Sid Wilson

Sidney George Wilson (born January 20, 1977),[1] also known as TheDJ, DJ Starscream, #0 (or 0), is an American DJ, keyboardist, rapper and pianist, best known as the turntablist of the Grammy Award-winning heavy metal band Slipknot. Wilson was the youngest member of the band until bassist Alessandro Venturella and drummer Jay Weinberg, who were born in 1984 and 1990 respectively, joined the band.

Jim Root

James Donald Root[1] (born October 2, 1971),[2][3] also known as #4, is an American guitarist and songwriter. He is one of two guitarists for heavy metal band Slipknot and the former lead guitarist for rock band Stone Sour.

Chris Fehn

Christopher Michael Fehn (born February 24, 1973), or known by his number #3, is an American musician, best known as a former percussionist of heavy metal band Slipknot. He was also the bassist for Will Haven.
